Description

Snorkel and appreciate the landscape of the Galapagos on a full-day tour. Observe wildlife on the way to the tunnels area, see blue-footed boobies nesting, and snorkel with sea lions, seahorses, and more. After a 40-minute boat ride, observe different wildlife on the way to the tunnels area. Mantarays are common to observe on the way, and sometimes killer whales are spotted. Arrive at a rock where from the boat you can observe Nazca boobies and blue-footed boobies nesting by the cliffs. Continue with the navigation to a place where the water is shallow, calm, and very clear to observe the rock formations that a series of arches and tunnels have produced from volcanic eruptions. Spot the great blue heron that most of the times stays there, and in different times of the year, penguins can be seen by the tunnels formations. Walk over the rock formations to observe blue-footed boobies nesting with their chicks or sometimes observing the courtship so unique for these animals. After this, go back to the boat to go to the snorkeling zone where you will be able to observe white tip sharks, blue-footed boobies with their chicks, penguins, sea lions, seahorses, rays, a variety of fish, sea turtles, and baby black tip reef sharks. Have lunch on board and taste local snacks and drinks.
