La Casa del Suizo

A tranquil Amazonian refuge located on the shore of the majestic Napo River and a stone's throw away from the eastern slopes of the Andes Mountains, La Casa del Suizo is perched comfortably above the riverbank and the small Quechua Indian village of Ahuano, overlooking vast expanses of the surrounding tropical rainforest environment.

Stays are all-inclusive, with or without transportation, and no minimum stay is required. Native guides (not bilingual) and activities are included.

Guests can enjoy the swimming pool, outdoor dining area and pool bar offering an array of delicious tropical drinks, in a peaceful atmosphere overlooking the Napo river. The hotel's cuisine features a wide variety of both Ecuadorian and international dishes, and the meal buffets cater to vegetarians.

There is a variety of trails and activities to choose from. All excursions at La Casa del Suizo are led by native guides with expert knowledge of the rainforest's plants and their uses.

Its 75 modern rooms provide full electricity, hot water and ceiling fans. Each room has its own terrace with an exquisite view that can be enjoyed from a comfortable hammock.
